Street Side Brewery

In November 1788, the intersection of a dream and a pioneering spirit ignited Benjamin Stites and 26 others to found the settlement of “Columbia” along the banks of the Ohio near the Little Miami River. Now known as Columbia-Tusculum, Streetside Brewery is proud to be rooted in Cincinnati’s oldest neighborhood. With the same industrious energy, the Hickey family, Streetside Brewery founders and residents of Columbia-Tusculum, strives to provide a down-to-earth experience with a selection of exceptional craft beer that’s as diverse, and original, as the community they serve. Streetside Brewery beers run the gamut from IPAs and Wheats to Lagers and Stouts and specialty beers are featured seasonally. The taproom also spotlights guest taps to support fellow local breweries. Streetside Brewery was built on the site of the East End Café at 4003 Eastern Ave. Established in 1887, the East End Café was considered among the oldest continuously operated live music bars in Cincinnati until a fire closed its doors permanently in 2010. Streetside Brewery is proud to breathe new life into the corner of Eastern Avenue and McCullough Street and the East End and Columbia-Tusculum communities. The taproom not only serves a diverse selection of Streetside Brewery’s exceptional craft beer, interesting guest taps and wine, but it also serves as a gathering place for the community and a destination for all lovers of craft beer. A food menu created by Brad Gilpin and featuring “Steamed Str{eats]” is available for lunch and dinner. You are also welcome to bring food in. A number of restaurants are close by and will deliver, including Taglio, Tusculum Grille and Buz Restaurant. And yes, we are family-friendly. So, come in to try a sample, lift a pint, fill a growler and meet friends old and new!
